The Nashville Predators Stanley Cup hopes are all but dashed at this point, and now GM Barry Trotz has made his stance ahead of the trade deadline very clear as it appears the Predators are ready to be sellers on some intriguing pieces.

This season hasn't gone anywhere near how the Nashville Predators were hoping after a massive off-season full of signings, and ahead of the trade deadline, they've got some huge decisions to make as they sit in the bottom-three in the Western Conference right now.

Unsurprisingly, there have been calls for them to move on from some of their top pieces to begin a re-tool, and now General Manager Barry Trotz has addressed the situation, stating that he's ready to move on from absolutely anyone that doesn't want to be there.

This comes on the heels of comments from veteran defenseman Luke Schenn that he's never been around a team that has struggled to score the puck so much, which has increased speculation that a team could look to land both he and his brother Brayden ahead of the deadline.

«I don't think I've ever been a part of a group like this that literally can't score a goal»

It's unclear at this point what comments have been made behind the scenes about players wanting out, but given their struggles, it's very easy to see that players wouldn't be too happy with how things are going.

That doesn't mean that Steven Stamkos, Roman Josi or Filip Forsberg will be on the move in the next week, but this team has some intriguing pieces, and if any of them have expressed a desire to move on, don't be shocked to see Barry Trotz make some moves in the next week.
