Drake Batherson who has been arguably Ottawa's best player will miss the next 4, possibly 5 games due to Covid. Ottawa is coming off of a week off due to Covid for players to return. So far Drake has 16 points in 14 games this season and will be a huge loss for the Senators to miss 4 games.
Right now we are not sure how severe the symptoms are. Connor Brown who is returning from Covid said he lost his sense of taste and smell but he was still able to work out.
We will see how these 4 games go after a week long break. This will either be sloppy hockey or Ottawa will come out firing.
Luckily for tonight Nasty Nate Mackinnon is out for the time being.
