Lafreniere delivers dirty headshot to Victor Hedman - no penalty - suspension coming?
In what turned out to be the New York Rangers final game of the season last night, Rangers youngster Alexis Lafreniere decided to take the body on Lightning's Victor Hedman and missed the body totally and caught nothing but head.

There was no penalty on the play and Hedman on his way to the bench broke his stick in anger while yelling at the referee's. Hedman needed to go to the locker room after the hit.

One thing that the NHL's Department of Player Safety actually takes seriously is head shots. So look for Alexis Lafreniere to be receiving a suspension for this hit that went uncalled.
