Brad Marchand comments on Sam Bennett's cheap shot
Today Brad Marchand spoke to the media for the first time since being injured on a cheap shot from Panthers forward Sam Bennett.
Boston Bruins captain and forward Brad Marchand is known for playing on the edge of what is allowed. In a recent game, Brad Marchand got the same in return after a dirty cheap shot from Sam Bennett.
New angle just dropped of Sam Bennett punching Marchand in the face
Today Brad Marchand broke his silence on the play that left him out of multiple games due to injury. His perspective on things is shocking considering he was injured due to a dirty play.
Brad Marchand on Sam Bennett's punch:
«I think he got away with a shot. But I'm not gonna complain. Shit happens. I've been on the other side of a lot of plays. That's part of the game, part of playoff hockey. Sucks to be on the other side of it, but that stuff happens."
Brad Marchand does admit he thinks that Sam Bennett got away with a dirty hit. However, he does not complain that there was no discipline he knows what it is like to be the aggressor and doesn't hold a grudge. This makes sense considering how often Brad Marchand has been blamed for similar actions in the past.
As of now, it remains to be seen whether or not Brad Marchand will be returning to the lineup against the Florida Panthers. As that update is confirmed we will pass it along to you.
