Beautiful gesture by Edmonton Oilers fans for Ben Stelter birthday!
Right Now it's a special time to be a Edmonton Oilers fan. After defeating the Calgary Flames 5-4 in game 5 they are ''Canada's team'' now and our only shot at bringing the Stanley cup home where it belongs.
The Edmonton Oilers haven't been playing by themselves this playoffs, no, they have been playing for this little guy, Edmonton Oilers super fan Ben Stelter. If you haven't heard of this little guy, Ben is suffering from childhood cancer and has been named the Edmonton Oilers good luck charm.
Ben has gotten real close with Oilers captain Connor McDavid along with many other Oilers players. Yesterday was also Ben's birthday, so the fans in Edmonton did something special for the little guy and would sing happy birthday to Ben outside Rexall place for a viewing party.
However I think Connor McDavid would give Ben the best birthday present ever, scoring the overtime winner to lead the Oilers to the Western Conference Finals.
