The 'Beautiful Game' is back!
Fan Fight
While the Vancouver Canucks were busy running up the score at home against the Edmonton Oilers last night, fans of both teams were busy getting into each other's faces in the stands. A video posted to X shows a heated conversation taking place between someone in an Edmonton Connor McDavid Jersey and what appears to be a Vancouver Todd Bertuzzi jersey.
After some tense words, the McDavid sweater guy appears to take a direct slap or punch to the face. That's when things really heated up, and the police eventually had to step in to break things up.
Not the Only One
It was not the only fight to take place at the Canucks-Edmonton game last night. Vincent Desharnais and Dakota Joshua dropped the gloves early in the first period.
Brock Boeser of the Canucks was the hero of the game, scoring four goals in an 8-1 win.
