Saturday against the New Jersey Devils, Tampa Bay Lightning forward Brayden Point went crashing hard into the boards after falling on a breakaway.
Point crashed hard into the boards and looked to be favouring his shoulder/collarbone after the play.
Today the Lightning announced Point would be out of the lineup indefinitely with an upper body injury.
Point now joins Nikita Kucherov as Lightning forwards to suffer significant injuries this season.
