Cedric Paquette was handed a 2 game suspension for his illegal hit on Trevor Zegras in Sundays 4-2 loss against the Ducks.
The NHL described this hit as "avoidable" and not a play "where Zegras movement turned the play from a legal hit into an illegal hit."
Zegras did finish the game, but was likely being reevaluated Monday by Ducks team doctors.
This is Paquette's second career suspension and third disciplinary action.
