BREAKING: Vegas Golden Knights Acquire A Top Six Winger From Washington Capitals
Tonight reports are flooding in that the Vegas Golden Knights and Washington Capitals have completed a trade. The trade sends a top six winger to Vegas as they gear up for a Stanley Cup defense.
Golden Knights Acquire A Top Six Winger From Capitals
A report from NHL insider Darren Dreger has confirmed that the Vegas Golden Knights have begun to use the cap space created by Mark Stone being put on LTIR. According to Dreger the Golden Knights have landed winger Anthony Mantha from the Washington Capitals.
The Vegas Golden Knights have acquired Anthony Mantha from Washington.
Mantha this season has been one of the best forwards on the Capitals with 34 points in 56 games. He provides a well-rounded forward with immense size to the Golden Knights' middle six.
Anthony Mantha, acquired by VGK, is a two-way scoring winger who's put up goals at an absurdly efficient rate this year in fourth line minutes. A big player who notoriously does not play a physical game, but still pushes play in the right direction. #VegasBorn
