Milan Lucic has been involved in plenty of drama this season in Boston, and even after his criminal case was thrown out, it appears the team have no interest in bringing him back anytime soon.
Boston Bruins reveal stance on Milan Lucic
Just hours after it was revealed Lucic would no longer be facing charges, the Boston Bruins released a statement concerning the veteran and his indefinite leave.
«Milan Lucic will remain on indefinite leave from the organization for the remainder of the 2023-24 season. The Boston Bruins organization supports Milan and his family as he continues his personal rehabilitation.»
According to the Bruins statement, Lucic will remain on indefinite leave for the remainder of the season, and with his contract being a one-year deal, it puts his future in jeopardy.
The 35-year old played just four games for Boston this season due to injury and the indefinite leave, and with his game taking a major dip plus this drama off the ice, this may have been the last we saw of him on the ice, but for now, only time will tell.
