Maple Leafs Matthew Knies revealed to be dating college hockey player
A series of pictures making their rounds online shows Matthew Knies no longer a single man, as he was seen cuddling up with a new woman.
Matthew Knies was enjoying a trip in Italy, but wasn't doing so alone. In recent photos shown online, Knies was seen with his arm around a woman, who appeared to be Ella Huber, a famous women's professional hockey player. Ella has played for Team USA and now plays for the University of Minnesota Gophers.
MATTHEW KNIES SPOTTING AND HE'S IN LOVE 🥰🥰
Ella Huber is 21-years-old from Northfield, Illinois, and she's played professional hockey since 2016. She was with the Chicago Mission 16U and 19U teams, as well as having played for Team USA U18. Over the last three years, she's been playing for the University of Minnesota and had a great season last year, scoring 18 goals and 24 assists in 39 games.
Matthew Knies has been great for the Leafs, having put up 35 points in 80 games last season. There are high expectations for the second round pick in 2021.
Here's hoping Knies and Huber continue to have great careers, and we wish them the best in their love life ahead!
