Toronto Maple Leafs organization make a major addition to their coaching staff
Today the Toronto Maple Leafs organization has announced another change to their AHL team the Toronto Marlies coaching staff this summer.
The 2024 offseason has been the offseason of coaching changes for the Toronto Maple Leafs organization. First Craig Berube replaced Sheldon Keefe as the head coach of the Toronto Maple Leafs.
Now the Toronto Marlies the AHL affiliate of the Maple Leafs have added to their staff. An announcement has been made that Marlies head coach Jon Gruden has hired Steve Sullivan as an assistant coach on his staff.
Prior to being hired by the Toronto Marlies Steve Sullivan had been the head coach of the Phoenix Jr. Coyotes 18u team in 2023-24. He has AHL experience as an executive with the Tuscon Roadrunners from 2017 to 2021. Now Steve Sullivan will take on a new challenge and look to develop the future of the Toronto Maple Leafs organization.
