BREAKING: Evgeny Kuznetsov's Waiver Fate Announced
Yesterday, the Capitals and the NHL announced that forward Evgeny Kuznetsov has been cleared to return to action after participating in the NHL Player Assistance Program. Shortly after, the team announced that they would be placing the star forward on waivers with the purpose of assigning him to the Hershey bears, their affiliate team. Today, we have found out where he'll end up.
Kuznetsov clears waivers
According to insider Elliotte Friedman, no team made a claim for the top centre of the organization. It is important to note that Kuznetzov makes 8M dollars for another year on his contract, something teams may not be too keen on.
