Anaheim Ducks take a hilarious shot at NHL ASG event winner
Alex Pietrangelo was named the winner of the NHL Breakaway Challenge, despite not even scoring a goal. But after some pandering to the Vegas crowd the Vegas Assistant Captain walked away victorious.
Pietrangelo's involvement in the Breakaway Challenge on its own was a surprise, especially as the only defenseman in the competition. AP's breakaway attempt showed why it was surprising, as it was easily the worst tonight. But in an attempt to devalue All Star weekend even further the NHL granted the hometown player the victory.
There have been a lot of fans unhappy with the decision, especially after Trevor Zegras scored one of the filthiest goals ever.
Well now the Anaheim Ducks have sent out a hilarious tweet that represents their views of this horrendous robbery of Zegras!
Right now I think we can all agree Trevor Zegras is the rightful winner of this meaningless event at this year's All Star Game!
