The Islanders have traded Josh Bailey to get cap relief ending his time in New York abruptly.
Bailey To Chicago
Throughout his 1,053 game career, Josh Bailey has spent all of it with the Islanders up until now. With a bad contract, the Islanders have shipped him as well as a 2nd round pick in 2026 to Chicago in exchange for future considerations.
Bailey will be a veteran presence for a young Blackhawks team that consists of many top picks, including Connor Bedard.
