They say all good things must come to an end and this seems to apply for Philadelphia Flyers defenceman Keith Yandle's Ironman streak. The NHL's most consecutive game streak is currently at 989 games.
Yandle's streak is in serious Jeopardy of coming to an end after Yandle didn't participate in the Flyers practice Thursday and the Flyers head coach Mike Yeo revealed the 35 year old defenceman is under the weather.
The Flyers host the Toronto Maple Leafs Saturday night so Yandle has a couple days to hopefully recover, but if not, Arizona Coyotes Phil Kessel could end up taking the title from Yandle. Recently Kessel just passing Doug Jarvis to take 2nd place on the most consecutive games played with 967.
If Yandle does indeed miss Saturday nights game, it will only take Kessel 23 more games to take the throne of most consecutive games played.
