BREAKING: Mike Bossy passes away at the young age of 65
Mike Bossy has passed away after his fight with Lung Cancer.
Bossy was one of the best goal scorers to ever put on a pair of skates. He announced last October that he would be stepping away from sports after he had been diagnosed with lung cancer.
Bossy will always be remembered as a New York Islanders legend. He is a four time Stanley Cup Champion, recorded 573 goals in just 752 games and was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 1991.
Our thoughts and prayers go out to all his family and friends, this is truly a tragic loss to our hockey family.
