Tonight it was revealed by Premier Francois Legault during an interview with Yanick Bouchard and Frédéric Plante, on the program Le 5 à 7 , on RDS that:
"The Quebec government will meet "in the coming months" with the Commissioner of the National Hockey League, Gary Bettman, to discuss the issue of the return of the Quebec Nordiques."
This is huge news for province of Quebec who would love to bring back the Battle of Quebec and with teams like Arizona hemorrhaging money there could definitely be an opportunity to bring hockey back to Quebec.
