Last night the Minnesota Wild and Winnipeg Jets faced off, which resulted in a 3-1 win for the Jets.
During the game, an altercation happened that caused a scrum and has now resulted in a suspension.
You will see in the play below, that Ryan Hartman plays the puck to his teammate and then delivers an unsuspecting hit to Winnipeg Jets forward Nikolaj Ehlers:
As a result of this hit, Ryan Hartman has been suspended for one game:
Minnesota's Ryan Hartman has been suspended for one game for Interference against Winnipeg's Nikolaj Ehlers.
Personally I do not mind Hartman receiving a suspension if a major injury was caused. But I do not understand when an interference penalty began being worthy of suspension?
