It's been an exciting year for the waiver wire, we've seen quite a few big name players and first round draft picks put on the waiver wire this year and a few have been claimed.
Just this week we saw the Detroit Red Wings put former 20+ goal scorer Jakub Vrana on waivers, who surprisingly went unclaimed.
Yesterday the Winnipeg Jets put Michael Eyssimont on waivers for the purpose of sending him to the AHL, but he apparently didn't make it through.
The San Jose Sharks chose to claim this 26 year old center.
Eyssimont has played the majority of his career in the AHL after being drafted in the 5th round 2016 by the Kings.
