This season has not been kind to the Vancouver Canucks or their coach Bruce Boudreau.
After having a horrendous start to the season, they currently have a 18-22-3, which is actually pretty impressive considering how their season started.
There has been a lot of speculation on what direction the team is going to head now, especially since
Brock Boeser has requested a trade and after failing to come to terms with captain
Bo Horvat on a contract extension, it is likely that the Canucks are going to lose him as well.
It has just been one big mess this season and unfortunately it has all been put on the shoulders of Bruce Boudreau, who continues to be in conversations of being fired/replaced.
When Boudreau took over last season, the Canucks took off on fire, and the crowd even had a ''Bruce there it is'' chant for him.
But with the teams poor performance this season, he is definitely struggling with all the firing talk:
You cannot help but feel bad for Boudreau. He is a heart and soul coach, and you've never heard a player that's played for him have anything bad to say. He is a great coach and this record cannot all be put on him.
