The other night when the Golden Knights hosted the New Jersey Devils in a must win game, Robin Lehner let in a few goals that lost them the game and got himself called out by his coach after the game.

Last night versus the Washington Capitals, they decided to go back to Lehner to start the game, and after the first period the coaching staff decided to pull Lehner, despite him stopping 12 of 13 shots. Backup goaltender Logan Thompson started the second period and held the crease for the remainder of the game.

Robin Lehner was playing well up until he was pulled, so this is definitely a case of the coach not trusting his goaltender in a must win game.

Lehner must have had a good laugh though that he did not have to face a 2-on-1 with Ovechkin, making Thompson let in his first shot of the period.

Think the Vegas Golden Knights are missing Marc-Andre Fleury right now?
