Bruins fans last year were heartbroken when David Krejci announced he was leaving the NHL and returning to his home country to play. David Pastrnak and David Krejci were teammates once again at the World Hockey Championships this past few weeks and the two showed just how much chemistry they still had leading the Czech Republic to a bronze medal.
Pastrnak made a post on instagram today that has Bruins fans and the hockey world excited:
What's up Krejci? Are you coming back to Boston next year?
Krejci had a smile to the question which is making many believe we will see this long time Bruin make his NHL return!
The team is going to be desperate for some reinforcements after Brad Marchand will miss quite a bit of time after offseason surgery and with captain Patrice Bergeron currently a UFA and considering retirement, this long-time Bruin would be a huge shot of life for the Bruins next season.
