The drama in Vancouver seemingly won't stop, with the public feud between J.T. Miller and Elias Pettersson now seemingly pushing Patrik Allvin and the organization into making a big-time move.
While a trade hasn't yet been made, many believe that it's just a matter of time, with many teams around the league interested in one of the star centers as Vancouver prepares for a massive shift within the organization.
Now, reports from David Pagnotta and Bleacher Report have revealed that no less than seven teams have major interest in one or both players, with Pagnotta noting that the Rangers, Wild, Red Wings, and Sabres have all made contact about the two stars.
As for Miller, the interest in him comes from teams contending for a Stanley Cup in 2024/25, with Bleacher Report noting that Colorado, Boston, and Chicago could be notable landing spots for the 31-year-old star.
At this point, the Canucks could blow things up entirely and trade both players to create a new core down the middle, but for now, it appears that they are intent on moving one or the other.
As for which one they'd prefer to move, insiders have yet to determine which that is, but with so much drama going on in Vancouver amidst their struggles on the ice, it's safe to say that a big change is coming in the very, very near future.
Given how close this team was to the Western Conference Finals a year ago, it's hard to fathom how the egos of both players have led the organization to this point, but with the team sitting one point out of the Wild Card spot in the West, unless something changes soon, they could be set for a massive fall off, so keep an eye on how this plays out moving forward.
