The Buffalo Sabres had high hopes for the 2024/25 campaign, but after struggling through much of the season, they are once again looking to sell ahead of the 2025 trade deadline, with their future up in the air.
Thus far, speculation has surrounded the likes of Owen Power, Dylan Cozens and Bowen Byram, but there are many other players that could fetch them a solid return, including 23-year old Jack Quinn.
The former No. 8 overall pick has been a developing young piece for the Sabres, but with the team looking to finally end their Stanley Cup Playoffs drought, they have to explore all options to get their franchise back on track.
Now, according to Seravalli, teams around the league have been calling on Quinn, and while it doesn't seem as though they're actively looking to move him right now, they're at least taking the calls.
In 151 games for the Sabres thus far, Quinn has been fairly solid, tallying 78 points with a career high of 37 back in 2022/23, and while he's not blossomed into the star they've expected thus far, it's clear that a bit of patience could lead him to stardom one day.
Only time will tell what happens with Buffalo over the next few weeks, as they certainly have many players garnering trade interest around the league, but with the team looking to get back into the Stanley Cup Playoffs soon, they've got some big calls to make, and those decisions could change the future of the organization.
