The Los Angeles Kings have had their struggles with Pierre-Luc Dubois, and now their head coach has called him out.

Dubois Called Out By Kings Head Coach Todd McLellan

Pierre-Luc Dubois is becoming a bit of an issue around the NHL. It was previously thought that he had just a bad string of luck when it came to coaches and team fit. However, now Dubois is on his third team and is having the same conflicts with coaching.

The Kings' head coach Todd McLellan has now taken to the media to call out Dubois for his lack of intensity, saying that it's time for him to step up.

Asked Todd McLellan what he's seeing from PL Dubois without the puck:

«At the end of the day whether PL gets four minutes or gets 24 minutes he has to be a difference maker. And with or without the puck we've gone through this long enough it's time.»

Dubois Struggles in Los Angeles As His Minutes Are Cut

Dubois hasn't been able to produce this season yet with the Kings, scoring just 19 points in 44 games with his new team. What's worse is his rating, as he has an abysmal -13 rating for the first half of the year.

Though, some are pointing out that it is unfair to paint the entirety of the Kings' struggles onto just Dubois, and that the whole team has struggled.

I don't disagree with the answer, but he certainly should not be the scapegoat for this team's problems

We will see if Dubois can get something going this season, or if he is truly a dressing-room issue that many have speculated on his previous teams.
