The Seattle Kraken joined the NHL last season, and while they did not have the immediate success that the Vegas Golden Knights had, they did not finish last. The team chose to not have a mascot last season, instead to release it last night, and oh what a revealing it was.
The new mascot is named Buoy, he is an 8 foot tall troll which was inspired by the local Seattle landmark called the Fremont Troll.
The Krane lowered Buoy from the ceiling to unveil their new mascot, and the internet took over, ripping it to shreds!
What are your thoughts on the new mascot?
