The Colorado Avalanche and St Louis Blues continued their best of 7 series last night with it all tied 1-1.
Unfortunately for the Blues they would lose game 3 to the Avalanche by a score of 5-2 but the bigger concern is on Blues goaltender Jordan Binnington.
Binnington was injured early in the first period with the Blues up 1-0 Nazem Kadri would crash hard into Jordan Binnington. The contact appeared to be accidental but it's hard to say with Nazem Kadri who has a history of playoff suspensions for bonehead plays.
Binnington was forced to leave the game with a lower body injury. Binnington must of not believed it was accidental contact because when Kadri was doing an interview after the game Binnington appeared to throw a water bottle at Kadri.
Kadri would notice it and say,
"Not sure if he threw a water bottle at me or not"
Losing Binnington would be disastrous for the Blues who are now down 2-1 in this series.
