The Tampa Bay Lightning are on the brink of elimination after the Colorado Avalanche took game 4 in a controversial overtime win.
The Avalanche scored in overtime but the controversy is they had too many men on the ice, so the penalty should have negated the goal, but no referee caught it. While you have to feel bad for Tampa, they got away with the same thing last year, so karma.
Pat Maroon has won the cup 3 years in a row, and is hoping to add a 4th to his resume, and decided to give this hilarious quote right before he hopped on a plane to Colorado.
We have to go win a f*cking game right now. Sorry for my French.
It has been a long time sine we've seen the Tampa Bay Lightning down 3-1 in a series, but they've played some pretty good hockey while being down in a series this year, so I doubt game 5 will be any different. But Maroon may have just given the Avalanche some motivation to shut him up.
