Last night the Chicago Blackhawks hosted the Vegas Golden Knights in what finished as a 3-2 shootout win for the Blackhawks.
In overtime, Patrick Kane was sent on a breakaway and knew he had little time remaining so decided to take a slap shot, and beautifully put it in the back of the net.
Sadly though, Kane was too late by a fraction of a second and a shootout was needed to finish this game.
Patrick Kane seemingly scores with 00.1 remaining in overtime -- a slap shot from the high slot -- but video review determines time had run out. Boooooooooooo
