The National Hockey League is becoming a league where if you deliver a big hit, it's either dirty or starts a fight. Long gone are the days of stepping over the blue line and Scott Stevens comes over and takes your head off.
Rangers' defenceman Ryan Lindgren in the first period last night delivered a huge hit to Penguins Richard Rakell which sent him to the locker room. Lindgren was originally assessed a major penalty on the play, but after review it was deemed to just be a minor.
What do you think, was this a clean hit? Did the referee's get it right?
