The Vancouver Canucks became a team that was on a 100+ point pace when Bruce Boudreau took over as head coach last year and many thought they would be a legit playoff team this year, but currently they are sitting second last in the Pacific division with a record of 5-9-3 through their first 17 games. They were the last team this season to register a win, despite holding 3+ goal leads in multiple games to start the year.
According to NHL Insider Elliotte Friedman on his 32 Thoughts Podcast, only two players on the Vancouver roster are untouchable and will not be moved:
Elliotte:
"I think their only untouchables are Pettersson and Hughes."
"Demko is an interesting one. I still think it would take a ton to move him unless the Canucks think for some reason his health won't recover but I think that's a crazy bet to make."

From the looks of it, the Canucks are seriously considering a rebuild and everyone is for sale. Finishing last season the way they did has turned out to be the worst possible outcome as they could have made a deal to trade away JT Miller this offseason for assets instead of signing to an eight year deal.
If they are seriously wanting to do the rebuild, this is definitely the year to do it in as the upcoming 2023 NHL Entry draft is possibly the deepest since 2003.
