The game will be the Montreal Canadiens vs the visiting Washington Capitals. For those who missed the story supposedly Steven Beauparpant said his son Hunter, who is a huge Nick Suzuki fan ahad made a sign for Nick Suzuki at the game last Saturday between the Montreal Canadiens and Toronto Maple Leafs.
Nick Suzuki seen the young boy and his cool sign and threw a puck over the glass to him. Unfortunately the 8 year old missed it and it got him in the lip cutting him. Suzuki the stand up guy he is noticed it and felt bad, so Nick went over to the boy during warm ups and gave Hunter an autograph stick and took selfies with Hunter and his father Steven who are both huge Montreal Canadiens fans.
This is where the story changes according to Hunter's father Steven Beauparpant, apparently according to Steven, the security at Scotiabank Arena immediately kicked them out of the game because they considered the hockey stick a prohibited weapon. But the Toronto Maple Leafs PR Department said they didn't remove the family until there was 10 minutes left in the game conflicting the stories. Which they claim to have offered to store the stick for him as well until the end of the game, but Hunter did not want to give it up, so they left.
The Montreal Canadiens organization and Nick Suzuki didn't agree with the Maple Leafs decision on this and decided to send Steven Beauparpant and his son Hunter, tickets and travel to Tonight's game at the Bell Centre to make up for their experience in Scotiabank Arena.
