The New York Rangers and Pittsburgh Penguins were playing game 5 of their series last night, with the Penguins looking to close out the series. Unfortunately for them, after taking an early lead, the Rangers would fight back to down the Penguins 5-3.
In this play, Jake Guentzel and Evgeni Malkin crashed the net, causing the Rangers to go back down the ice 4-on-1, giving the Rangers an opportunity to make it a 5-3 game, but Chris Kreider decided to make the selfish play and shoots from beyond the hashmarks, which Domingue easily saved. One pass to his left and they would have had a wide open net.
