Video emerges showing exactly why the Montreal Canadiens chose Juraj Slafkovsky

For the past year everyone assumed that Kingston Frontenacs Shane Wright would be picked first overall in the 2022 NHL Entry Draft.
So it was very surprising when the Montreal Canadiens, who won the Draft Lottery, would go up on stage and Canadiens General Manager Kent Hughes would select Juraj Slafkovsky with the first overall pick..
The 6'4" Slovak absolutely dominated at the u16 and u18 levels, and when given the chance to play against men he scored a goal per game in the Olympics. The level at which Slafkovsky was able to preform at the big stages proved to be too much for the Montreal Canadiens to pass up on.
