WATCH: Fan hilariously tries to fight Darnell Nurse

Last night the Colorado Avalanche hosted the Edmonton Oilers in game 2 of the Western Conference finals, and let's just say, it did not end in the Oilers favour.

After a fairly even first period, the Avalanche were able to score 3 goals on 3 shots in the second to eventually win the game 4-0, taking a 2-0 series lead over the Oilers.

The Oilers wanted to send a message at the end of the game that this serious is not over yet. Darnell Nurse tried to get a little rough, but the referee immediately got in the way to avoid any last minute activities.

But while the referee's didn't want any extra stuff, this fan definitely did, watch him try to punch Nurse in the head during the scrum.
