It felt like a playoff game last night between the Tampa Bay Lightning and visiting Winnipeg Jets. Although unfortunately only one of them will most likely be making the playoffs this season.
The Jets are battling for their playoff lives, which might have been why they were so feisty in the game. The game got a little out of hand when Winnipeg defenceman Neal Pionk sent Lightning's Ross Colton into another time zone with a huge hit.
After the hit all hell would break loose, with everyone pushing and shoving and a few face washes. Unfortunately for the Winnipeg Jets, they woke up the bear known as the Tampa bay Lightning, blowing their 4-3 lead to lose 7-4 in a game the Jets needed to win.
