Ottawa Senators trade Mathieu Joseph to the St. Louis Blues
The Ottawa Senators and St. Louis Blues have brokered a trade that sends forward Mathieu Joseph south of the Canadian border.
NHL insider Elliotte Friedman just broke the news that the St. Louis Blues have traded for forward Mathieu Joseph from the Ottawa Senators.

Chris Johnston then went on to add what the return was for Joseph.
Hearing the #sens are sending a draft pick along with Mathieu Joseph to #stlblues for future considerations.
Clears salary in Ottawa as Joseph had two more years under contract at a $2.95M AAV.
The Senators trade Mathieu Joseph alongside a draft pick to the St. Louis Blues.
Senators will have now close to 7 million dollars in cap space. I wonder if a Pinto extension is close or another move.
Joseph scored 11 goals and 35 points last season and will provide some scoring on the Blues' bottom six as they look to return to the Stanley Cup playoffs.
