NHL All-Star John Scott looking to make a return to the NHL with the Sharks

John Scott is a fan favourite and former member of the San Jose Sharks, and he has just teased everyone about a possible return to the team.
John Scott was recently co-hosting his Dropping The Gloves podcast, where he teased fans about a possible return to the NHL with his former team, the San Jose Sharks
Former fan favorite John Scott teased a possible return to the San Jose Sharks on his Dropping The Gloves podcast. Scott signed off of his podcast by saying, "You know where else you might see us? San Jose fans, keep an eye out for this." It appears that after Scott made this comment, he backtracked and said, "Should I not mention it? It might not be public. I shouldn't say it yet. I am going to save it, but keep an eye out in San Jose for me," Scott said.

Scott suited up in 38 games with the Sharks back in the 2014-15 season, scoring three goals and adding one assist, which were all career highs for him. Scott isn't really there to score goals, as his main purpose serves to bring energy to his team by engaging in fights. People will remember Scott fondly in 2016 for when he was voted into the NHL all-star game, which is very rare for enforcers to take part in those contests. He instantly became a fan favourite after that. He managed to score two goals in that game and was voted the MVP!
Following his NHL career, Scott joined a podcast and became a co-host, which he still does to this day. The Sharks are likely looking for a Bret Hedican type of guy again, and Scott could definitely be someone they would look to, despite his age.

It appears as though the Sharks may have already informally signed Scott, as his "It might not be public" comment really took people by surprise, leading many to believe the deal is there, but that it just hasn't been announced yet. The fan favourite may well be on his way back to the NHL.
