Maple Leafs fans furious at Mitch Marner's off-season activities

Toronto Maple Leafs fans are not happy at Mitch Marner after he posted pictures of him and his dog on a Sea-Doo last week, when he should have been training.

Mitch Marner has been all over the news this off-season and not for all the right reasons. It began with a bunch of trade rumors and now, his wife Stephanie posted a photo of him and their dog having fun on a Sea-Doo, and fans reacted as soon as it went viral.

"Wonder if he rides around the perimeter of the lake too," commented one user, referencing Marner's preference to play on the outside during the playoffs when checking is much tighter.

The reason seeing Mitch Marner living it up is upsetting so many fans is because another Leafs player Max Domi was recently seen working out really hard in the gym as he is determined to be in the best shape possible for next season. The priorities that each player has is what is bothering Leafs fans as Marner is supposed to be the team's superstar and is receiving a $10.9 million salary next season, whereas Max Domi's expectations are much lower, with a much lower salary as well at $3.75 million.

"Sure looks like a guy working hard for next season," commented another user on Domi's workout montage post.

Mitch Marner is about to play out the final year of his contract and he is likely hoping for an absolutely massive season so that he can secure a major pay day. Training camp is set to begin in about one month, and players will slowly be making their way to the city of Toronto to get familiar with their surroundings once again.

Mitch Marner played in 69 games last season for the Leafs and scored 26 goals and 85 points. He will definitely look to add to those numbers next season, at least fans are praying he will after his latest posts caught them off guard.
