Recent poll proves Leafs fans are already sick of Brad Treliving
The Toronto Maple Leafs front office appears to be very untrustworthy, as the fan base has ranked them near the bottom of the league in the latest confidence rating.
The Leafs have been very busy this off-season making moves and signings to improve their roster for a deeper playoff run next season, as they have a new goalie duo and brand new defensemen, however despite these moves, the confidence level among the fan-base is horribly low, as they are two spots away from being dead last in the league.
The team dropped a further three spots from the previous season, which saw them finish in 27th place in confidence rankings, so dropping to 30th this year is a very bad look for the club.
Athletic readers are unserious people lmao cmon
The Florida Panthers finished first in these rankings, and that's no surprise considering they have just captured the first Stanley Cup in their franchise's history.

Here are a few comments made by fans regarding some of the moves Brad Treliving has recently made.
''Treliving deserves credit for trying a taskmaster coach and rolling the dice on an efficient Stolarz/Woll combo. But when you look at last year's puzzling trade deadline acquisitions on a win-now team and some of the last two years of free agency decisions, it's hard to think the roster that can get 100-plus points blindfolded is being given its best chance for success.''
''At the start of the Shanaplan, it certainly felt like the Leafs were one of those teams. It's getting harder and harder to feel like Toronto is on the cutting edge given the lackluster playoff results over the last decade and some of the decisions made to get there. A lot of what the Leafs do feels safe, boring and bland. It's as if the decisions are made via a focus group to minimize risk hit a few singles instead of swinging for the fences.''
''Overall, while the Shanahan/Treliving duo has been far from disastrous, it has proven underwhelming. A few diamonds in the rough, a few misses for sure, but more or less the same strategy of the previous regime.''
It is completely natural and understandable as to why Leafs fans are so frustrated and do not trust their front office, as the team constantly makes the playoffs and hits the 100-point mark year after year, but completely chokes when the games matter most, failing to ever make any deep playoff runs.
This is a must win year for the Leafs if they hope to improve in confidence rankings, and if some of the front office staff hope to keep their jobs. The players aren't safe either.
