The Vegas Golden Knights have officially terminated one of their forwards.
Golden Knights Terminate Marcus Kallionkieli
It was just announced that the Vegas Golden Knights have placed Marcus Kallionkieli on unconditional waivers in order to terminate his contract.
Marcus Kallionkieli placed on unconditional waivers by #VGK and will have his contract terminated.
Kallionkieli was one of the Golden Knights' recent draft picks and has struggled to adjust to the pro game. He split time this season between the Polish league and the 2nd-tier Finnish league. He will now work his way back to earning another NHL contract.
He was originally picked in the 5th round of the 2019 draft by the Golden Knights and is a Finnish/Brazillian duel national.
