Bruins' Captain Brad Marchand drops the gloves against 6'4'' defenseman Niko Mikkola and immediately regrets it.

On Tuesday night, the Bruins and the Panthers fought for the first place in their division and the game was simply electric.
On the ice and in the stands, we saw an incredible playoff atmosphere.

Everything was set to see at least one fight, and it happened when Brad Marchand dropped the gloves against Niko Mikkola.

Halfway through the game, the Panthers were leading 2-1, and after an intense battle close to Sergei Bobrovsky's net, Marchand and Mikkola engaged in a fight.

Mikkola, who's significantly bigger than Marchand, didn't need much time to send his opponent on the floor.

While Marchand tried to throw a few punches, Mikkola simply sent him on the ice and referees quickly intervened.

He's heading to SummerSlam to fight for the belt.

With Pat Maroon now with the Bruins, people expected him to do most of the fighting.

The Bruins emerged victorious with a 4-3 score. They remain in the top rank of their division, with two more points than the Panthers, who have one game in hand on Boston.

These two teams are likely to meet once again in the playoffs this year and it promises to be an exciting serie.

More to come.
