Paul Bissonnette warns Pat Maroon that Ryan Reaves will dominate him
Ahead of the Toronto Maple Leafs and Boston Bruins first-round matchup, Paul Bissonnette and Pat Maroon were on a podcast when Bissonnette sent a warning to Maroon about Ryan Reaves dummying him.
Probably one of the most anticipated first-round matchups this year is the Boston Bruins and Toronto Maple Leafs, both with their storied franchises and level of distaste for one another. Brad Marchand has even shared that he believes the rivalry between Boston and Toronto has surpassed that of the Bruins and the Canadiens.
With that, there is sure to be some hard-hitting fireworks in the series between the two teams. Toronto has gotten tougher this year, though, with Ryan Reaves holding down the fourth line. In a recent interview on the Pat McAfee show, Paul Bissonnette sent a warning to Pat Maroon's face telling him to watch out for Reaves.
"And that's sugar coating it! He's going to pump your eyes shut. He's going to give you so many rights, you'll be begging for a left."
Of course, this exchange was all in good fun on for the show, and Pat Maroon had his response to why Bissonnette was going so hard for Reaves.
"Well Biz is a Leafs fan, that's why. And the only reason Biz is saying that is because Ryan Reaves pumped his eyes shut, too."
Reaves and Maroon have squared off in the past, and there is a non-zero chance that they square off at some point in this series with how these teams have gotten into it in the regular season. Either way, there are surely going to be some fireworks from both sides of this series.
