It was a scary moment tonight between the Colorado Avalanche and San Jose Sharks when Avalanche forward slammed his helmet off the ice.
The incident occured during the 3rd period of last night's game in Colorado, when Kadri was going for the puck in the Sharks end and Sharks Tomas Hertl and Timo Meier both went in the corner to battle and caught Kadri slightly from behind sending him slamming into the boards.
Kadri got up on his own accord and skated to Avalanche bench but you could tell Kadri was in some discomfort. With the playoffs around the corner, the Avalanche definitely dont want to have anymore injuries. Kadri is having a career year with the Avalanche scoring 26 goals and 57 assists in 65 games this season and they could definitely use him come playoff time (if he doesn't get suspended this year).
