There's a growing trend going on in the NHL and it's getting mixed reactions.
Last nights game between the Buffalo Sabres and Winnipeg Jets went to a shootout and Buffalo Sabres goaltender Craig Anderson was upset after Blake Wheeler came in very slow and potted the goal.
Bringing up the debate should this type of antic be allowed? When we first saw shootout goals they were exciting and the players would come in on the goaltender and would have to make a split second decision on what he was going to do and same with the goaltenders.
Wheeler isn't the only one to do this, Patrick Kane is famous for them and Evgeny Kuznetsov recently did one that could be even slower.
Should players be allowed to do this?
