After not playing since the Stanley Cup finals, Carey Price made his return last week against the New York Islanders. Price has played in 4 games so far this season and it has not been the return he had hoped so.

Through the 4 games, Price is 0-4 with a .853 Save percentage and 4.04 goals against average. Price was lit up for 6 goals last night against the Ottawa Senators in a high scoring game.

Carey Price was unavailable to media in Ottawa after last nights game because he was receiving treatments with trainers.

RDS revealed a tweet which we translated to english saying that:

During his pre-game press briefing ahead of the Canadiens-Bruins duel, Martin St-Louis confirmed that Carey Price was not going to be on the team's next trip to New York and that number 31 needed rest. 😲

While we shouldn't read too much into this as Price has been off all year and the remainder of this season is basically meaningless to the Canadiens as they are competing for last place, but Price has a history of fatigue issues and if this is already a problem 4 games into his season, could Price have more issues that we originally thought?

We've seem Tuukka Rask try to make a comeback this season, who is the same age as Carey Price and couldn't do it anymore. Could we possibly be seeing the same issue with Price?

Let's hope not!
