The other night when Nathan Mackinnon went after Matt Dumba for a fight, people were praising him for standing up and fighting. The next day when the team announced MacKinnon was returning home for further evaluations because he was injured, people were saying the exact opposite.
The Colorado Avalanche are one of the favourites to win the cup this year and they went all in at the deadline to finally try and push themselves over the hump when it comes to making it to the third round. Many fans were probably seeing that slip away as they heard of his injury. It got even worse when the team announced that there was reason for concern.
But this morning, head coach Jared Bednar announced on Altitude radio that the superstar Nathan MacKinnon will be back in the lineup for this evenings game!
