#NHLBruins have signed former #Yotes draft pick Mitchell Miller to an entry-level contract.
Arizona renounced Miller's selection after it came to light that he heinously bullied an intellectually disabled child while in 8th grade.

Reminder of the facts: Miller and another teen were were convicted in juvenile court of bullying and abusing Isaiah Meyer-Crothers, a Black and disabled classmate. Miller has developed into a great offensive defenceman in the USHL, and it looks like the Bruins feel like he has matured enough from his former grade 8 bully days and deserves another chance.

Fans are NOT happy:
what Mitchell Miller did to that kid was not a «lapse in judgement» from a youngster. it was downright evil. calculated. the kind of decision that reveals the darkness of someone's character regardless of age. it took him years to apologize, if he even has.
this is sickening. Mike Stephens (@mikeystephens81) November 4, 2022
Sweeney on signing Mitchell Miller: "I am not going to downplay that this has been a personal struggle as well as a professional struggle."
They did not reach out to victim's family during vetting process.
Just having a hard time thinking this is worth it. Ty Anderson (@_TyAnderson) November 4, 2022
Not seeing the words "racist" or "racism" anywhere in the Bruins' press release. What Mitchell Miller did was racist. It's important to acknowledge that if you're trying to make people believe he's changed in any significant way. Arpon Basu (@ArponBasu) November 4, 2022
