BREAKING: Head Coach Suspended Due to Investigation in the WHL
A WHL head coach was recently suspended due to an ongoing investigation putting his career in jeopardy.
WHL Suspends Constantine
The WHL has just announced that they have suspended Wenatchee Wild coach Kevin Constantine.
The Western Hockey League announced today, Kevin Constantine, Head Coach of the Wenatchee Wild, has been suspended pending an independent investigation into alleged violations of WHL Regulations and Policies.
Former #NHL head coach Kevin Constantine has been suspended after a complaint has been filed about his conduct as coach of the WHL's Wenatchee Wild.
Constantine was formerly a head coach in the NHL with the Sharks, Penguins, and Devils but has since been blackballed by the league. Since 2010, Constantine has coached in France, Switzerland, the U.S., Poland, Korea, and Hungary.
He was hired by the Wild for the upcoming season but clearly is experiencing parallels similar to Mike Babcock and is now in danger of losing his job before it ever began.
